Why Choose StatLock Interlocking ESD Rubber Tile?
One Component in a Four-component ESD Flooring System
StatLock SD interlocking rubber tile is part of an ESD flooring system consisting of StatLock SD interlocking rubber tile, GroundBridge conductive underlayment, copper grounding strips, and StaticWorx Seal, floor sealer and antistatic finish.
Ideal for Installing Over Problem Floors
Like our signature GroundLock interlocking tile, StatLock SD rubber tiles provide an ideal solution for problem floors. At 8mm thick, StatLock SD rubber tiles can be installed right over ugly subfloors or high-moisture concrete, without telegraphing imperfections or worrying about moisture seeping through seams.
Easy Installation and Lift & Carry Removal
Need a floor for a temporary space? With StatLock rubber tiles, moving in and out is a breeze. The thick, lay-flat rubber tiles are so easy to install that a child could do it. Simply place the tile, set another adjacent tile, snap together and lock into place. When you’re ready to move, lift to unzip the tiles and carry to the next installation.
Cost Effective
Reasonable material cost coupled with easy installation and removal make StatLock a highly cost effective and environmentally sound interlocking flooring solution.
Seamless
Our StatLock SD rubber tiles are engineered so precisely that the interlocking pattern nearly disappears as tiles are installed, creating the appearance of a clean monolithic surface.
StatLock SD rubber tiles are custom-formulated, with high strength polyurethane binders combined with recycled tire crumb, producing a rugged, extremely durable floor – perfect for installation in warehouses with forklifts and pallet jacks and other heavy-duty work.
Environmentally Sound
StatLock SD rubber tiles are made in the U.S. from 96% recycled rubber with a specially engineered polymer binder. Because of the high level of recycled material, StatLock SD rubber tiles meet and exceed requirements set forth in the U.S. Executive Order 13101, Greening the Government. StatLock SD rubber tiles can be a contributing factor for LEED Green Building Council certification.

StatLock Interlocking ESD Rubber TileFrequently Asked Questions
Is StatLock a permanent or temporary ESD flooring solution?
StatLock is ideal for temporary, transitional, or semi-permanent spaces. The interlocking design allows tiles to be installed without adhesive, then unlocked, lifted, and reused in another location—making it perfect for leased facilities or changing layouts.
Does StatLock meet ESD compliance requirements?
Yes. When installed as part of the complete StaticWorx system—including conductive underlayment and grounding components—StatLock supports compliance with ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements for static-safe environments.
What makes StatLock suitable for problem subfloors?
At 8mm thick, StatLock tiles install directly over cracked, uneven, or high-moisture concrete without telegraphing imperfections. This makes them a practical solution where traditional glued-down flooring would fail or require costly floor prep.
How durable is StatLock in heavy-duty environments?
StatLock is engineered with high-strength polyurethane binders and recycled tire crumb, delivering excellent resistance to wear, forklifts, pallet jacks, and static loads up to 150 PSI—making it suitable for warehouses and industrial settings.
Does StatLock require adhesives or permanent floor prep?
No. StatLock installs as a floating, interlocking floor with no adhesives required. Grounding components are integrated beneath the tiles, allowing for fast installation and clean removal without damaging the underlying floor.
Is StatLock an environmentally responsible flooring option?
Yes. StatLock is manufactured in the U.S. from 96% recycled rubber (up to 91% post-consumer) and supports sustainability initiatives, including compliance with U.S. government recycled-content requirements and contribution toward LEED certification goals.
