Static generation with ESD footwear
Static generation with ordinary footwear
Why Choose StaticWorx ESD Rubber Flooring (Tiles)?
Inherently Antistatic
Rubber naturally generates extremely low static as people walk, reducing the risk of ESD events without relying on topical treatments or finishes.
Consistent Static Control
Engineered to meet ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements, StaticWorx rubber flooring delivers reliable, predictable electrical performance across the entire floor system.
Footwear Independent Performance
Rubber is the only resilient flooring material that inhibits body voltage regardless of footwear. Meets ANSI S20.20 at low humidity, even with temporary heel straps.
Durable & Long-Lasting
Tough, resilient rubber withstands heavy traffic, rolling loads, and daily wear while maintaining its static-control properties for the life of the floor.
Comfort & Ergonomics
Rubber’s natural resilience reduces fatigue for people who stand or walk for long periods, supporting comfort without sacrificing performance.
Clean & Sustainable
PVC-, phthalate-, and halogen-free materials contribute to healthier interiors, with select products offering high recycled content for sustainability goals.

StaticWorx Rubber FlooringFrequently Asked Questions
Is rubber flooring inherently antistatic?
Yes. Static-control rubber is inherently antistatic, meaning it generates very low static as people walk—without relying on topical coatings or applied finishes.
What is the difference between conductive and static-dissipative rubber?
Conductive rubber allows static charges to move quickly to ground, while static-dissipative rubber controls the discharge rate. Both meet ANSI/ESD requirements when properly installed.
Does rubber flooring require ESD footwear?
In data centers, PSAPs, FAA, and telecom applications, StaticWorx rubber flooring maintains body voltage under .5 kV, even with ordinary footwear. ANSI S20.20 requires body voltage under 100V, necessitating the use of ESD footwear. In these applications, conductive (EC) rubber keeps body voltage under 20V.
Will the ESD performance of Eclipse EC rubber wear off over time?
No, conductive rubber provides permanent static protection. StaticWorx Eclipse Plus rubber is a full-thickness, hybrid ESD rubber floor with no insulative materials, delivering fault-tolerant, continuous conductivity from the walking surface to ground.
Can rubber ESD flooring be installed over existing floors?
Yes. Many rubber products can be installed over existing flooring, depending on substrate conditions and installation method.
