StaticWorx systems provide permanent, humidity-independent conductivity, verified to ANSI/ESD standards(S20.20, STM97.1/97.2, F150) and IEC 61340. Flooring supports predictable grounding behavior around racks, switches, patch panels, coax/satellite transmission gear, and sensitive broadcast electronics, aligning with grounding and bonding expectations outlined in ATIS 0600321, IBM data center guidelines, and Motorola R56.

StaticWorx offers adhesive-free and low-odor installation systems, including GroundLock Extreme interlocking tiles, RapidInstall dry adhesive, and StatBond® PSA allowing phased installation with no shutdowns, no VOC-related alarms, and no impact on airflow, pressurization, or equipment cooling. These methods are compatible with the operational requirements of ATIS 0600321, Motorola R56, and IBM telecom room guidelines.

Problem 3: Raised-Access Floors & Ground Continuity

In IDF rooms, data centers, NOCs, and broadcast suites, metal raised-access floors and uneven substrates can introduce grounding discontinuities that compromise ESD control and violate telecom grounding/bonding requirements.

StaticWorx flooring integrates cleanly with raised-access systems using conductive adhesives, copper grounding straps, and installation practices aligned with Motorola R56, IBM grounding specifications, and ATIS 0600321. For spaces where adhesive is not permitted or shutdowns are impossible, StaticWorx also offers field-applied floating solutions, including GroundLock interlocking tiles and floating ShadowFX carpet tiles that maintain continuous ESD performance without disturbing the access-floor infrastructure.

Waxed or topically treated ESD floors lose conductivity, require frequent maintenance, and introduce lifecycle costs that telecom and broadcast facilities cannot afford.
