Problem 1: Incomplete or Outdated Test Data
Many ESD flooring products provide limited data – incomplete STM97.2 walking voltage data, environmental notes, or system-level resistance. In audits, this limits the baseline for trend analysis in real-world performance.
Solution
StaticWorx provides complete, independently verified test results for each product, including STM7.1, STM97.1, STM97.2, and ASTM F150. Documentation includes environmental conditions, footwear used, and traceable certification data.
Problem 2: Variability Across Batches or Components
Differences in manufacturing lots, adhesives, footwear, or seating can cause resistance drift and inconsistent test results, particularly in low-humidity conditions.
Solution
Each StaticWorx system is tested as an integrated assembly. Batch traceability, footwear compatibility evaluations, and full-range humidity testing ensure stable system performance for auditors and compliance teams.

Floors that meet lab conditions sometimes disappoint after installation due to deviation from the footwear used during qualification. Factors such as unexpected maintenance, grounding issues, substrate moisture, or wear can also negatively affect post-installation performance.

The GroundSafe® process includes pre- and post-installation verification. We supply calibrated meters, clear procedures, and pass/fail criteria to confirm resistance-to-ground, system resistance, and walking voltage under real environmental conditions.
