Some ESD floors shed, outgas, or trap contaminants at seams, jeopardizing cleanroom classifications and sensitive equipment.
Solution
StaticWorx floors are engineered for contamination-controlled environments. Our materials demonstrate low particle emission (ISO 14644-14), cleanability and abrasion resistance (ISO 14644-9), and – when required for aerospace – align with ASTM E595 outgassing limits. Surfaces are non-shedding, low-VOC, and maintain stable ESD performance under ANSI/ESD S20.20, STM97.1/97.2, and ASTM F150. Welded seams eliminate particulate harbor points, supporting ISO Class 5–8 and GMP cleanroom requirements.

Sterile-environment cleaners can degrade topical ESD finishes, causing resistance drift and compliance failures.
