People are sometimes concerned that ESD floors are less tough or durable than regular floors. In this short video, we explain why this is a myth. ESD floors can be just as tough – or in some cases tougher – than regular floors. GroundLock Extreme interlocking ESD tile, for example, is reinforced with a double layer of fiberglass, for a strong, tough, durable floor that withstands heavy loads – up to 30,000 pounds.

Myth #1 All ESD Floors Crack Under Heavy Loads

with Kimberly Petraccaro

People think that all ESD vinyl tile is going to crack under heavy weight loads.

Myth Busted!

Our GroundLock Extreme ESD vinyl tile is six millimeters thick. It is super durable. It has two layers of fiberglass sandwiched in between the material. Best of all, it is so easy to install. You put two tiles together and they click. They click together just like a puzzle.

GroundLock can handle very heavy weight loads. It can be installed almost in any space.

Moisture problem? Don’t worry. GroundLock doesn’t rely on any type of adhesive. So high pH, high RH, no problem.

But what type of spaces would I use this in? Cleanrooms, data centers, modular buildings, temporary spaces, SCIFs just to say a few.

Call us for more information. Thanks.

To maintain the effectiveness and electrical performance of an ESD
